Registration Fees

On-Site 3 Day Registration includes:

  • Attendance at sessions
  • Program workbook including cases
  • Lunches and refreshments on the specific attendance day
  • Access to view the live cases and presentations following the Symposium

Payment Method

Payment is by credit card – Visa – Mastercard – AMEX or bank transfer.
If funding is being sought through your institution, please keep a copy of your registration tax invoice/receipt to follow up on its progress through your institute’s accounts department.
No registration fees are to be outstanding following the Symposium.


Registration Acknowledgement

All registrations will be acknowledged with a tax invoice via email once on-line registration has been completed.
Further details regarding the Symposium will be emailed in advance of the Symposium.


Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations received prior to 1 November will receive a full refund less AUD175 cancellation fee.
Registration refunds after 31 October will only be made in exceptional circumstances and must be notified in writing to the Symposium Secretariat.
In the event of the Symposium being cancelled, all registrations will be refunded in full.

All cancellations and changes to a registration must be done in writing to the Conference Secretariat – conferences@vervesymposium.com

Social

Thursday 30 November 6:00 – 7:00pm
Welcome Reception ICC – a great opportunity to renew friendships and meet colleagues in a relaxed environment.
Evening otherwise at leisure Reception is included in registration fee for fully registered delegates.

Friday 1 December 7:30 – 11:00pm
Symposium Dinner – Taronga Zoo Function Centre, another wonderful Sydney Harbour iconic venue with spectacular views. The Symposium Dinner for fully registered delegates is not included in the registration fee and can be booked when registering.
Cost: $85 per person

Accommodation

Bookings for either the Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour or Novotel Sydney Square can be booked via the link on the registration site. Credit card details will be required to guarantee the booking. For other hotels, bookings can be made via www.booking.com.

The Symposium Convenor and Secretariat reserve the right to alter, without prior notice, any of the program arrangements, plans or other items relating to the Symposium, for any cause beyond its reasonable control.
The Organising Committee/Conference Organisers are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Organising Committee and the Conference Organisers do not accept responsibility for the loss of monies caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions. The Symposium does not cover individuals against theft or damage to belongings.


General

Visas – For delegates travelling from overseas, please check your visa, passport and health requirements before your intended date of travel. You must have a minimum of two blank pages in your passport and six month validity until the expiration date. It is important to check with the Australian Embassy website in your home city or visit https://www.australia.com/en/facts-and-planning/visa-and-customs/australia-visa-and-entry-requirements in view of changes to Visas.

Accommodation

Accommodation has been secured by the Symposium Secretariat, at discounted rates at the following hotels. Bookings can be done on line when you register for the Symposium website – www.vervesymposium.com or by completing the registration form and emailing it through to the secretariat. Please note that bookings are limited and all bookings must go through the conference secretariat to achieve the rates.

All accommodation will be confirmed through the Conference Secretariat. A one night’s deposit is required with all bookings via a credit card.   No booking can be guaranteed without a credit card to accompany the booking.

Accommodation prior to or following the dates of the Symposium will be available on a request basis. Check in time is 1400 Please note that the hotel will not guarantee availability of your room before 1400.
If you are not arriving at the hotel prior to 1800, please advise the Symposium Secretariat, to ensure that your room is kept for you.

RACS CME Activity Approval –24 points have been accredited for the Symposium.

Tickets are required for the dinner and if you are attending, you will receive this when registering on site.  If you are not able to attend, please advise the registration staff.
Dress Code: Smart casual

Special Requirements –Dietary requests will be accommodated provided you advised this when registering.

Presentations– If you have an oral presentation, slides are to be handed in to the Speaker Prep Area in The Gallery at least two hours prior to your session.  You will need to sign off on your presentation being uploaded to the website following the Symposium.
